BRIDGE aimed at improving the prospects and quality of life of newly arrived migrants and refugees, by providing local public administrations (PAs) with an enhanced decision-making system based on cognitive technologies for the data/fact-driven skill-based management of their integration process. The BRIDGE Decision-Making System exploits innovative ICT technologies (AI, machine learning, and personal data management) to provide a data-driven fact-based decision support system. The solution includes components for data collection/harmonisation, data analysis with scalable techniques, skill-based recommendation and decision support functionalities for PAs (for a better registration and exploitation of migrant skills in their strategic and day-to-day activities).

FBK ROLE

FBK was the BRIDGE Project Coordinator. FBK had a significant role in the development of the BRIGDE Decision-Making System and coordinated the Italian pilot within the Autonomous Province of Trento. It brought its expertise and competences in service-oriented architecture, eGovernment and participatory design.
